DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING FARADAY’S SPARK CLUB
The “FARADAY’S SPARK CLUB” is aims to provide a platform for Electrical Engineering students to socialise with their peers and to encourage a feeling of community in the electrical engineering stream. Also to form a group who can be responsible for communicating with department staff and future students regarding student concerns and subject advice. Moreover to improve the image of electrical engineering to a more socially diverse group, with a view to attracting future students and promoting equal gender representation in the stream and provide an opportunity for new students entering the Master of Electrical Engineering from other Universities to meet their peers and form networks. This club is also useful for both UG and PG scholars a chance to create and develop the knowledge of electrical energy and its significance in the modern world and also we could give a picture of development of science and its importance.
Preamble
Faraday’s Spark Club is the student run organization that strives to impart enthusiasm and passion for power and allied fields among students of EEE. The club aims to cater to the various needs that are primal to be addressed to keep in pace with the ever evolving field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The club aims to uncover those key topics that are not part of the curriculum or just grazed upon by the syllabus. This club, for sure, will help the students not only in their studies but also in their career.
Faraday’s Spark Club Objectives:
- 1. To bring the students out of their Syllabi bound shells and to expose them in practical field.
- 2. To explain the concepts of Electrical, Electronics, Circuit design and hardware analysis and help them to gain knowledge.
- 3. To provide a platform for the students to complete their innovative ideas.
- 4. To provide resources and the technical know-how to realize and shape their projects.
- 5. To expose the students to the latest technological advancements in the field of Electrical and Electronics.
- 6. To organize the program and make a discussion on latest trends of power and Energy which indeed improve their skills of Electrical and Electronics
- 7. To organize the exhibition for providing the Electrical Student a platform to show their skills and ideas.
Functions of Faraday’s Spark Club:
The functions of the Faraday’s Spark Club are to deal from basics of electrical and electronics engineering to the peak of it. The domains of the club are designed in such a way that it provides all-round development of a student in all aspects.
Teaching the students about the various components required to build both basic and complex circuits, helping them design and built complex circuits, giving them hints and tricks to make a circuit work, detecting bugs present in a built circuit are some of the key functions of this club. This indeed helps them not only in their studies but also in their career.
